CHPAP3P PICOPATH CNC Controller (2 x 37 pin plastic connectors) is a Plug & Play controller used on the following types of machines and their business applications:

Notes

Some manufacturers made the same machine models using different CNC controls. For example: Lockformer offers their Vulcan 1800 machine built or upgraded with different controls: MICROPATH MPP CNC or PICOPATH CNC. Lockformer Vulcan 2900 with: NEE CNC control; MICROPATH MPP CNC control; and PICOPATH CNC control. Advanced Cutting Systems built their Ductmaster 510 and Fabmaster 510 with HYBRID D11 or MICROPATH MPP CNC controls. The same goes for Koike Aronson with their PM510 and DM510 models.

CHPAP3P PICOPATH CNC Controller (2 x 37 pin plastic connectors) replaces for all MICROPATH CNC controls with 2 x 37 Pin Plastic connectors.
This is a case when the old MICROPATH CNC control that the customer wants to replace with our PICOPATH Plug & Play version has 2 x 37 (same size) plastic connectors - one male (I/O) and one female (DRV/ENC). If your control has two same size male connectors, the connector with name DRV/ENC is a 24 pin connector and that is a different CNC Control. If this is the case go to CHPAP2P PICOPATH.
The MICROPATH CNC control with 2 x 37 pin plastic connectors is not very common. It is used specially for sign cutting machines, water jet cutting machines, and hot wire foam cutting machines. Sometimes this control is used for OXY FUEL cutting machines. Some customers order CHMPP256P3 CNC control instead of the CHMPP256M because it is cheaper or by mistake, but they do not realize that it is not the same controller. It is very important to know the difference between the CHMPP256M and the CHMPP256P3. It is also important to differentiate between the 2 x 37 pin metal connectors and the 2 X 37 pin plastic connectors, because the metal connectors have plastic in the middle, but they are metal on the outside.
MICROPATH CNC control with 2 x 37 pin plastic connectors is not optically isolated and it is not a plasma ready control. Our CHMPP256P3 is optically isolated and it is plasma ready CNC control.
